Time for the Human Dignity Film Festival

On Thursday, October 16th from 6-8PM, the community is invited to attend the Sonoma County Human Dignity Film Festival, which will highlight three films about living with disabilities. The movies are short and closed captioned. You will glean a different perspective regarding disabilities. Film titles include: The Butterfly Circus; The End; and Shameless- The Art of Disability.

A $10 donation will be appreciated, but no one will be turned away due to lack of funds. Tickets can be purchased at the Summerfield Cinemas.

What is DSLC?

DSLC is a resource center, (one of California's 28 Centers for Independent Living CIL/ILC) that promotes the Independent Living philosophy through education, community partnerships and advocacy.


DSLC operates as a non-profit organization dedicated to enhancing the lives and advancing the rights of people with disabilities in Sonoma, Napa, Lake and Mendocino counties in California, USA.

All of our offices are scent free and offer a variety of programs aimed at meeting the needs faced by people with all disabilities. Most of our services are free. Legal fees are contingent upon winning your case. Further, we offer ADA consulting to businesses and organizations.

Orientation to DSLC Services

DSLC services are available on an appointment-only basis, or at Monday Orientation. All new Santa Rosa clients must attend an agency orientation in order to receive any of our services. We will honor reasonable accommodation requests to those who cannot attend Monday's orientation. Please contact our Napa or Ukiah offices to become a client with one of them.

Housing Workshop

This is Part 2 , and is an in depth session for consumers that have attended our Monday Orientation Housing segment. Starts promptly from 10 AM to 12:00 PM, the second Wednesday of each month. Please call ahead that day.
