Peer Support is an important tool in accessing independent living skills. In this program, we acknowledge disabled people as our peers. We offer peer support, resources, information, and referral. There are no costs to participate in these groups. You do not have to be a DSLC client to attend the groups.
Santa Rosa Office
MENTAL HEALTH PEER SUPPORT GROUP
We meet the second and fourth Wednesday of every month from 1:00 to 2:30 PM at the Santa Rosa DSLC office. This support group is open to anyone with any disability who wants to improve their mental health. Working with the “Integrative Health Path”, created by Mental Health Coalition of Sonoma County (www.mentalhealthcoalitionsc.org), we concentrate on the Mind, Body, Spirit and work towards thriving in life in spite of having a disability.
